I wanted to make a living Pokédex but was too lazy to finish it, so I got all Pokémon at level 100, perfect IVs and good moves via GTS. When I finally got all 649 I felt like a dirty cheater and released them.
Took me several days to create 649 perfect Pokémon and download them. I think you could call that autistic.

Ever since learning about IVs, I cringe when I see anything under 10, and probably refuse to train it, unless it's ridiculously rare, like that Hidden Grotto Dragonite I found with not a single IV above 15.
I get anxiety attacks sometimes, when I'm really stressed out.

When I first played blue Blastoise pokedex entry says "A brutal Pokémon with pressurized water jets on its shell. They are used for high speed tackles.", I thought this meant actual tackles, so I restarted the game and kept tackle on Squirtle all the way up to Blastoise expecting it to be some devistating move once it evolved. I was very confused when tackle was still shit on Blastoise.

One if a bunch of fags being sad. One is the brain LITERALLY not being able to produce the correct signals that invoke pleasure.

Most of these people say they're depressed, not clinically depressed. You know, playing devil's advocate.

I think most of them are just sad and awkward and should 'just get over it' to put it bluntly. I was depressed with social anxiety and hyper-sensitivity too. I know where that comes from. It's just getting out there and fighting it though. Willpower through it. You won't like it at first, but you become acclimated and adjust.

Pokemon actually provides a surplus of outlets for manchildren to be social. There's Pokemon Leagues, where people play the trading card and video games in competitive and friendly atmospheres. And it's not just little kids, but their parents and older siblings too. There's anime clubs and cons, who more often than not have Pokemon themes events. If not, you can inquire about them having one, or offer to lead on yourself It's a good exercise in talking to crowds, and it's about something you love and are passionate about.

I've been diagnosed by a doctor with mild depression, so I'm not just thinking that because I'm a little awkward. (I AM awkward but, yeah.)

I'm sure there's some people here that are like that, but I'd rather give people the benefit of the doubt with this sort of thing. I know how upsetting it can be to try to explain to people that you have a problem and for them to just brush it off because "it's not that bad."

That being said, yeah, even if you DO have depression and anxiety forcing yourself to hang out and talk to people would probably help.

It really isn't that uncommon for people to have some form of depression. Granted there is a difference between being depressed and having depression. You can have depression but not need any medication for it because it's not severe. I would assume and good amount of people on here are like that.

As for social anxiety, people think it means a lot more than it does. Everyone has social anxiety from time to time and if you think you don't, you're lying to yourself. It is really very common and something that people can fall in and out of. Sometimes though it becomes much more serious when it starts affecting daily life and basic social skills. Most of the people on here, though they would be afraid to, can carry on a conversation with a stranger if need be or be able to function when put into some sort of group activity (I would assume). It's no different than being shy at first. It's something everyone experiences.

I, for example, have an extremely hard time being in social situations with people I know to the point where I may burst into tears and have to leave the situation altogether. With strangers though, I'm fine and can function normally. It's different for everyone, and the level of severeness also differs from person to person.

Just because your social anxiety may not be as bad as someone else's doesn't mean you don't have it.

it's actually not too hard to find a good gaming group if you poke around a bit and are willing to weed out problem players, it's rocky at first but if you have at least a few dedicated cool people it evens itself out
one big thing that helps is having rules, even if they're light ones as it discourages sue godmoding, and having someone to act as a GM is highly recommended

I made an outline for an entire kind of edgy Pokemon game based around Las Vegas, complete with casinos for gyms and leaders, with backstory and names/references that made sense. Howard Hughes-clone was the 'champion', Frank Sinatra-clone was the first casino leader, etc.
