The advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men. A person who supports feminism is known as a feminist.
Someone who believes in and supports women's rights is not "a fucking idiot". The only ones who are fucking idiots are the in-your-face, all-men-are-pigs radical feminists, as every organization or faction has its zealots. But they are not the face of feminism, just as Osama bin Laden is not the face of Islam. So there is no need to refer to feminists as "fucking idiots" for believing in equality.
