I agreed I think its strange they add some nice features to one game and not use it the next game, Like gen 4's pokeatch I think has been the best tool so far, and having the ablilty to always have run on in SS and HG was nice too. Although I heard HG/SS and B/W were devolved at the same time so that would explain why none of those features made on to B/W

You heard correctly. HG/SS and BW1 were developed in parallel, and even features like pokemon tagalong could raise issues if not planned from the start.

The problem with the newer generations is that they constantly remove good new features and leave the bad portions in: the new Pokemon.

A next generation game in an entirely new region with the original 150... It would be amazing.

For a series that likes to talk so much about the trainer/Pokemon relationship ,
the fact is that the interaction between trainer and Pokemon in-game is close to zero.

As much as I love Unova and its Pokemon, HGSS did a very important step by letting you interact with your mons like back in Yellow.
Seeing their mood, they reacting to weather or areas according to species, etc

I guess now that Gamefreak is moving to 3D models instead of sprites there is a higher chance Gamefreak working on something similar again, but I wouldnt hold my breah.

GSC were fun as shit because we were all kids who came when we saw that brilliant land to the east after the league.

HGSS would have been perfect if it weren't for shitty levelling. The fact that GF overlooked that for the remake shows to me their laziness. Just give the trainers pokemon that are a few levels higher, dammit. ROM hackers have been doing it right for years.

Compare the Gen V Starters to Gen IV, Gen V Starters are all fucking horrible. Poison types too. Gen IV brought some nice unique concepts to a generally neglected type in the form of Drapion, Toxicroak and Skuntank. Gen V brought a Trashbag mon which is basically another Muk/Swalot lookalike xDDD, I mean feel free to hate on Sinnoh because it's 'slow' or whatever bs the fanbase conjures up but you're actually retarded if you think the gen iv designs are bad.
