The only one I don't have is Glameow/Purugly. I can't get the wifi to work on my shitty DS, so I've been considering buying Pearl version just for that last pokedex entry.

You can get it in White 2 via hidden Grottos.

I filled it out in Emerald and again in Platinum with lots of transferring. Then I filled out the Unova Dex in White, and decided "fuck that shit I'm not transferring over all those damn Pokemon" and just cheated it full. Cheated it full in White 2 also for the same reason.

I'm probably just gonna try and trade around to fill it up in Y.

I already had a Combee via Pokemon Ranch and the Burmy family were the last 3 Pokemon I needed.

I've done it. Took it a step farther and got a living pokedex, with one of every 'mon and not just a completed pokedex.

Don't know how long it took, it's been a cumulative process. I know I had everything Gen1-4 prior to Black and White releasing, and then I got them on release day and it only took me 11 days of playing when not working or sleeping to catch all of Gen5

I caught everything I could catch between my WHite 2, and my friend's Black version (he let me borrow his DS and game), I did some transfering, in-game trades, got some GTS deals (like Mandibuzz for Braviary), but quite a few of the legendaries came from Distrobro.

That said I made a living Pokédex, and I still had to work hard, breeding and raising hundreds of Pokémon, and I'm proud anyway

Lel, I completed mine in under a week on White 2. All I needed was Diamond, Heart Gold and Emerald.
The fastest way to do it is by filling in all of the habitats first then migrating those odd pokes
I've only cheated in Mew and shit. Still need Meloetta and Genesect though..

I did it in about 2 months. Luckily I have a normal DS and a 3DS. I also have 2 friends that play Pokemon and could give me the stuff that I couldn't get. There were only 3 or 4 Pokemon I needed the GTS for. Only stuff that is missing now are Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy and Phione and the only 2 Pokemon that are kind of illegal are Shaymin and Darkrai, you know why.

I was able to do it fairly quickly without many problems. If it was available in the game, I caught it or evolved or whatever (save for the appeal family and and few hidden grotto pokemon) and transferred the rest from my Pearl version I had completed.
