When I was 10 I had a Game Boy Color and Pokémon Silver. It was probably the best game I ever played and I sunk so many hours into it. One day our car got broken into and somebody stole it from the back seat.

So basically I want to play it again because I loved it so much but I'm not sure which Game Boy to get. I don't really want to get a Color again because having no back light really sucks. The newer Micro looks really nice but I don't think it will take older games?

I also read that there was a remake for the DS, should I get one of those instead?
