When soft-resetting for legendarily, what do you usually settle for?

Been at this for about 45 minutes, and got this mewtwo. Is this bad? I went for perfect speed but his defense is awful and his special attack is only alright.
What would YOU do?

As I understand it, you always want HP and Speed to be 31 if you are need the stats, and I can't think of a situation in which you don't need HP. For the other four stats, I've heard that 31 is the best, but with anything between 27-30 the difference is not significant. So I would reset for a better Mewtwo. You could also RNG, it is more legitimate than Pokegen.

try google. it is too complex to explain it here, as there already man guides written/videos made etc. smogon is down now, but their guide is one of the best ones.

tl:dr: it uses the time/generation of the stats to get perfect/almost perfect pokemon.

just to be less vile: if gamefreak makes the breeding mechanics less autistic (i.e. highest ivs should passed, always.) i wouldn't mind if rng is gone. as it stands now i'm not gonna breed for a week just to get pokes that are still not perfect
