>>12520612Honestly, it's a hard choice. They're both fucking amazing. Competitively, Arcanine is better, but because this is a playthrough, you can get like the same use out of them.
Both have Fire, Electric and Fighting moves at their disposal. Magmortar has Psychic, while Arcanine has Outrage and/or Extremespeed (Which isn't as good in-game)
Magby and Magmar are easier to train than Gowlithe, though.
