Talking about demos, do you guys think that will be a Pokémon XY demo available at E-Shop? Most 3DS games have demos, so why not a main series Pokémon? Though I don't know how a Pokémon demo would work. Possibily something like that gen III demo that you play with a Sharpedo without ability.

It'll probably be done like the Etrian Odyssey IV demo; you'll get to play up until a certain point (1st gym, whatever), and then get to transfer your save file over once you buy the game so you don't have to start over.

If there's a demo like that, it'll probably be released alongside the game. People are going to grind like hell and spend hours in the tall grass to see as many new Pokemon as possible.

I would assume a demo would work like the past demos. Non-transferable save file of course. A randomly chosen part of the game, mid-story, and you're given select Pokemon already revealed beforehand, where you have a maximum of 15 minutes of gameplay or so.

i really don't want a X/Y demo, that just will kill the hype, some of us really wanna do a blind run, but with a demo is nearly to impossible even when we don't play/download it.

i'm pro demos for some games but not for pokemon (main series spin-offs can have it).

I keep hearing people say gen 6 won't allow you to transfer over your old pokemon from gen 5 etc.
