Once you get into higher tier you rarely see weather teams.

Rain teams aren't all that hard to beat anyway. Probably the easiest out of the common playstyles.

And no, usually the battles in OU aren't very fun, but sometimes you meet a player that's very good (and doesn't use the same stuff as everyone else), and it's these battles that make the game worth playing (well, only if you are good as well).
