I hope the music in X/Y is not as horrible as it was in B/W...which were the only Pokemon games where it wasn't excellent (just one or two good soundtracks...seriously?). Bring back my trumpets!

Dark and Steel were added to fix the horrible balancing issues in Gen I. What will Fairy accomplish? Is there any point to it? I guess you could make it super-effective against water and dragon, but it still seems pointless.

Steel is broken.
Ice and Poison types are beyond worthless.
It is good to see GF trying to do something regarding balance issues, they did made bugs useful on Gen V, but I doubt just adding a new type would accomplish anything.

Not him, but I found it somewhat bland compared to past titles. It's the instruments and such they use, there's no real kick to most of the tracks because of them. HGSS had the same issue with it's remixes, though DPPt was fine.

GSC and RSE still have the best soundtracks to me.

Different tastes, I suppose. I thought the music in DPPt was utterly forgettable with a handful of exceptions. HGSS did better, but I thought that the music in Gen V was some of the best in the series.

Why did they remove Poison's advantage over Bug anyway? They made a weak type even worse. They only purpose of poison attacks is to poison, if you're facing Grass types Ice and Fire are better attackers anyway.

I wonder what the story and evil team will be this time around? The game seems to incorporate DNA factors in, so maybe the bad guys want to manipulate pokemon genetics to rule the world, blah blah...

I heard Xerneas and Yveltal might govern life and death, but I'm not sure if that's plausible.

Honestly, out of these, only the Relic Castle theme appeals to me. But what's really bad is that all the battle themes except B/W1 Kyurem's suck. Traditionally, the Champion/Gym Leader/Trainer themes were the best ones, but here it seems to be the opposite.
