Which generation had the best secret bases /vp/?
The underground, minigame-like tunnels of Sinnoh, or the simple overworld forts of Hoenn? Sinnoh masterrace reporting in.

Would you like to see secret bases return in Gen 6?

The underground in Sinnoh was fun as hell. As much as I loved the secret bases in Hoenn, and even though my last favorite gen was gen 4, the Sinnoh secret bases and underground were fantastic.

Furthermore, if they bring secret bases back, they should let you put them in more places. Personally, I want mine to be in an underwater cave.

Not that that's hard to do, but that's the reality of the matter. I still think it should've been WFC enabled like the Plaza in Platinum.

I liked Gen 3's more. Imagine spotpassing someone in XY, and then you're exploring a cave, but you see a hole in the wall that doesn't look like regular exits. You go in, only to find that it's another player.

What I want is for secret bases to have some sort of extra functionality. Like, in the picture >>12515959 posted, imagine actually being able to use the PC, or the Healing desk.

Why not have both?

Hoenn-style for an emphasis on Battling, trading, berry-growing, that sort of stuff.

Sinnoh-style for resource gathering, minigames, trap-laying, stuff like those Fes Missions from BW2, etc.

And yes, I would love to see Secret Bases return to Pokemon in Gen 6
