The next Smash Bros game and all things Pokemon about it.

So, Sakurai has stated that he will be focusing on character balance over adding new characters in 4, so we shouldn't expect many new characters. Instead of deciding what new Pokemon should be in it, let's discuss ways to fix/adjust the existing characters. Ideas for Pokemon stages are also welcome.

Note that I'll be discussing Mewtwo as well, since he at least is a very likely candidate to be in along with his new Forme.

Pikachu is good as is.
Jigglypuff needs her Rest hitbox to be increased slightly.
Lucario is good as is.
Pokemon Trainer: Squirtle's Water Gun needs to do damage no matter how charged it is. Damaging at no charge and only pushing at full charge makes no damn sense; Ivysaur shouldn't go into helpless mode if he misses a ledge with Vine Whip; Charizard is good as is.

Now, Mewtwo.
-Make him heavier. He's nearly 7 feet tall and weighs 267lbs, just because he levitates himself doesn't mean he's a featherweight. If anything that means he can stop himself from moving at all.
-Increase the damage and knockback on his Smash moves a little, and fix his Up Smash so that it draws in and holds opponents to ensure the hits actually hit.
-Change his Side B to Psystrike. Mewtwo swings his arm and emits a pulse of psychic energy. If an opponent is hit by it there's a large burst of power and the opponent is knocked away.
-Change his Down B to Safeguard. Mewtwo creates a stationary sphere of energy that acts as a safe zone from all projectiles, including ones launched inside it. Opponents can take cover in it too, though, and it only lasts for 6 seconds, plus Mewtwo can't make another Safeguard until it's gone.
