I was soft-resetting for a good Mewtwo and the sprite got messed up and the tail came out as green. It had perfect IVs and the nature I wanted but I didn't want to risk saving so I turned it off and tried again.

If your Pokemon had the IVs to be a Gen II Shiny, you could trade a Gen I Pokemon to Gen II and it'd be shiny, though.

This happened in FireRed, there's plenty of glitches in the new games too. Some so twisted that gamefreak have done everything in their power to stop people from abusing them, like special glitch Pokemon and finally teaching Flareon Flare Blitz.

Years and years ago, my friend once said he found a "wild Gary" and that it used Hydro pump at him.
So I suppose he somehow ran into a Pokemon with the same ID (or whatever) as Gary's Blastoise, and Gary's sprite was used.

Is this even slightly possible or was I being rused?
