I stopped watching after the Johto League, but I still remember that samurai in Viridian Forest, Giselle, that dickwad who abandoned Charmander, the Kangaskhan kid and his pedo dad, and Duplica. Also that Gastly who impersonated a dead girl and gave us Venustoise, the Clefairy with their spaceship, and that one Fearow that had a vendetta against Ash because he chucked a rock at him at the beginning of the series.
From the Orange Islands I remember those crazy cat people who worshipped Meowth and those punks that harassed Lapras, but I rather tend to remember events there (Kabuto Island, Crystal Onix Island, Pink Pokémon Island,...). Also tanned Nurse Joy with superstrength, and Dragonite dude (the Orange League Champion).
From Johto, Casey, Kurt, and the delivery Houndoom. That's about it.
