That's just a lie made by SEGA to justify that putrid pile of a game. It was really bad because of ridiculous time constraints causing them to release it unfinished for Sonic's anniversary.

When they were listening to nothing but the praise from the fans, we got Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, 06, the storybook games, and more of that.
