Hello guys, I know boards h8 new people
and I cringe when I see threads like this on Boards which Im familiar with, but it would be extremely helpful if I could get one of those images that shows alternative ways to play the game, if you know what I mean

As far as your question goes, Nuzlocke challenges are the most common alt-playstyles. Essentially, you treat fainting as death, and when a pokemon faints, you can't use it anymore. Also, you can ONLY catch the first pokemon you see of each new route.

There are a lot of smaller rules that vary from player to player too, but those 2 are the common derivatives of them.
