I love how Imposter made Ditto usable. I love revenge killing with a scarfed Ditto. bonus points if its something like a garchomp with outrage and a swords dance under its belt. GG.

Of course, it's not as much of a surprise as it could be, thanks to fucking Team Preview. I fucking hate that shit.

They probably can, but the majority choose not to because they see the ones that make themselves shiny as vain and superficial.

I'm actually happy with Dittos today. Finally I managed to get one on that fucking Hidden Grotto.
Since I finished W2, I check that Grotto. I never activelly tryed to force it to respawn or something, I just go there to check often, I knew that was only a matter of time until the Ditto appear. I checked that Grotto once per day for something like two or three months, and today it showed up. I soft reseted something like 8 times, I guess, and I got one with 31 HP IV.
I'm happy with my new bro.

A friend and I got in an argument the other day about ditto. He was saying that ditto needs to see something/be looking at it to transform into something; and that if he cant see it he will transform back. Though in some pokedex entries it states it sometimes has trouble transforming perfectly from memory. That means he can still transform from memory, right?

That is interesting question.
I imagine, ditto can transform from memory. But it wouldn't be battle ready and couldn't fool anyone.

but thats what I find kind of not well explained. How can he know the abilities of the other pokemon? does he have to see them use it right before? Or could a ditto just educate himself by looking at tons of pokemn fights to actually learn every possible move? I've always wondered why, in the anime, the ditto transforms into a cannon and shoots pikachu out, why couldnt he just transform into dragonite and use dragon-rage for example?

That's how Pokémon works. Ditto faces another pokémon, transforms itself into it and instantly knows the moves because MAGIC. No explanations needed.

I know, it's not a good excplanation, but sadly... We're talking about Pokémon.

But you can catch a Rayquaza, send out your Rayquaza and Ditto, tell Ditto to use Transform in Rayquaza, and then you can Hyper Beam the Rattata with TWO MOTHERFUCKING RAYQUAZAS at once. I think that's pretty cool.
