>ITT: Pokémon spin-offs that you know will never happen

I always wanted to have a Starbound-like pokémon game. World is randomly generated, and the species and routes are random too. Villages are random, you can customize your trainer, and evolve in an infinite 2D world. Pokémon have fuckloads of little differences in appearance, like the procedural system used in Starbound, while gyms are random too and PNJ's will exist in a variety of forms. The further you are, the higher the levels of the pokémon are, and there are dungeons and legendary pokémon caves (randomly generated too).
There'd be a main story mode, where you can go in either of the five regions available, with a story of some kind, as opposed to the completely sandbox aspect of the random mode.
You'd be able to battle directly with pokémon, with custom animations for each. Also, you'll be able to build houses, villages, make your own gym, etc. HMs would actually be useful at what their name implies, IE. Cut will cut trees and bushes really quickly, rock smash allows you to modify the landscape, strength allows you to move boulders and things like that, etc.

Pic related, it's Starbound, an upcoming game. Basically a sandbox game in space, with procedurally generated planets, monsters, weapons, space travel, etc.
