Hello there everyone! So normally I don't post just watch from that creepy dark corner you never look at but today is a different day. I have some fancy sane topic for you that has always been bothering me so let's cut the bs and get to business.
Let's talk about poison type! What comes to someone's mind when poison is said? Well obviously poison makes you think about offense, the very purpose of of poison is to weaken or kill someone. Yet in pokemon poison is undeniably the absolute worst at offense. The only thing it is good against is grass which is very cute since quite some of them are grass and some other type that poison bad against (most common one is grass/poison), so the only type they could be good against is at quite some case no good. People say poison type is defensive. However I disagree! It is only resistant against 4 types which is nothing special at all, quite some others have that much too. You know what's defensive? Steel! But even steel is good against two types and it humiliates poison by defense.
In short poison really deserves one more type to be effective against.
You know what? This is the only reason why I hope gen VI will introduce a new type, just so poison can become good against one more type. Poison pokemon are epic but their type is too bad for offense and that needs to be changed.
