So yesterday somebody mentioned the possibility of HP natures in Gen VI. This is something I had thought for a while should be in the games, and I see no reason why it wouldn't make sense.

But what I want to know is, how would /vp/ feel about evasion-raising natures?

HP wouldn't make sense because it's quantitative data, where as Defences are qualitative....or the other way around, I'm not a bloody statistician.

But there isn't an evasion stat so that wouldn't really make sense. Agreed there should be an HP nature. there should also be pure increase and decrease natures where they only buff or inhibit the one stat.

It would work the same way the other natures work. IF you have a maximum HP of 100, then with a +HP nature you'd have 110, and 90 with a -HP one.

Who the fuck said anything about evasion? It's not a stat like attack, speed, or HP but a mechanic of battle.

HP was always so.....clear-cut

If pure buff stats were only able to be found on Shiny pokemon that would make them reasonable. Also if pure buff were only able to be obtained by breeding shiny fathers. So basically shiny's only have buff natures thus making them more desirable and pure buff natures next to impossible to find. I don't think that'd be a terrible trade off.
