I am so excited for X and Y, and it's because of this guy here. I'm so pumped for Froakie. This guy here is the very first frog/toad Pokemon we have ever had. FINALLY, why haven't we gotten one earlier? Seriously though, how can anybody not like Froakie?

Anyway, the point of this thread is to discuss what you're most excited for in XY.

Not excited about anything in particular, I might not even buy it on launch.

As for the starters, I rarely go with fire, and Fennekin is too much fur for me and not all that cute to be honest. At least it probably won't be part fighting.

I don't like Chespin much really either, hopefully it'll be a Sandslash-type thing when it evolves. But I doubt it.

So I'll probably go with Froakie, but I don't really like water types. I at least hope it's a fuck-off big thing like Seismitoad and not some spindly anthro frog thing. And I hope the evos don't get increasingly darker blue like with Oshawott. I also hope it's poison type because I'm sick of Water/Ground.

It's striking colours are representative of the poison dart frog which will poison you in a strike. Hence the typing. The 'Croa' in the name is derived from croak, the sounds frogs make. Please, if you're going to troll, try a bit harder.

Froakie. It has to evolve into Water/Flying though, or I'll feel betrayed. Fannekin's okay and Chespin is ugly, though I hope it actually evolves in a good looking thing so we don't have another situation like the Gen V starters where one type was blocked off completely for people with good taste.

Also I'm planning to not look up the entire pokedex before the game like I did with Black and White so I think that'll make for a better experience.
