You had to explore through it like 5 different times (I guess just four if you don't go back after the E4 to pick up everything you missed) and it was all plot/progression related. At least Diglett Cave and Mt Moon were incredibly different from eachother. Mt Coronet was the same Bronzong, Zubat/Golbat and Chingling encounters every single time.
>Like every gen after First GenGen 5's were pretty memorable, mostly because they were actually characters rather than sort of being there. A few of Gen 2's like Claire, Whitney, and Jasmine fit that as well.
>Are we talking about Unova now?Nigga Gen 5 had like the best soundtrack. Especially with how they played with adding instruments to some of the town themes when you talk to musicians. But Ghetsis, N, Iris, Corless, and Gym Leader's last Pokemon themes are all widely regarded as outright some of the best.
