Hey /vp/. Don't you think it would've been cool if in X/Y (or ever) the cries of pokemon were replaced with their normal voices (like from the anime)?

anime cries are better than some of the older horrible 8 bit cries. I wouldn't mind it. Some Pokemon already say their names in the games anyway.

This would be awesome for dudes like Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, from Pokemon: The First Movie, NOT the regular episodes most of the Gen1 Pokemon pretty much. But for poor fools like Feraligatr "FERALIGATORR!!" ugh. Or "GARCHOOOOMP" rrrrrgh. Then, well, I'd rather just have all the Pokemon sound decent with their weird squeaks and electronic chirps and such. Dialga is one of the few who suffer from this "blorrrEEEEEEAAAAAAA" Pic Related.

In the first few series of the anime, they weren't necessarily just stating their names

Examples: Primeape, Charizard, Caterpie

And even ones that did say their names, they had put thought into the voice: Magnemite, Aerodactyl, Goldeen, I could go on

But nowadays they just say their names, everything sounds the same
