According to Smogon Moltres is RU but still viable in OU, I always loved this Pokémon so I'd really like to use it.
It's got pretty good SpA but its Spe is mediocre, and has Charizard syndrome.
You guys have used it in 5th Gen? And recommend it? Your replays are welcome.

I still want to know the logic behind a weather phenomenon that can reach more than 500 miles across and affects everything underneath/inside it has only 70% accuracy.

Because the Pokemon is not actually producing an actual hurricane, just a powerful wind attack that the trainer simply calls "Hurricane"

The accuracy is still bullshit, because how do you miss so easily with AIR? Does the Pokemon just wildly flap its wings and hope that a gust will go in the direction of its opponent?

The accuracy thing has always annoyed me. The two Pokemon are facing each other, not dodging the attacks (unless using Protect, Detect, Dig, Dive, or Fly). All of the attacks should have a 100% chance of hitting, because as Mushu put it, "You MISSED!? How could you MISS, he was THREE FEET IN FRONT OF YOU!".

it's viable in OU because it's got a Hurricane, which can really wreck coming off a 125 SpA stat; surprisingly enough people use it in the rain

With a 100% accurate Hurricane, Moltres doesn't really need his Fire STAB. The only problem it can face is Steel-types become harder to kill.
