>>12576139I've always thought it'd be cool to have a gen based on prehistoric times. The region (based on Pangea) would be isolated and almost perfectly preserved, so even though it's set in modern times, it's all prehistoric with a bunch of volcano and dinosaur and giant bug pokemon. And you can find all the fossils and pokemon that know ancient power there. And the inspirations of pokemon would span from the beginning to the caveman era, and it would have been just recently discovered and all the towns are new settlements and the pokemon league had just been established and your family moved there because they like the adventure.
I like the idea but I know it'll never happen because the games don't have "themes" like that
