>AlderWhile he is a bit easy and loses to N, he has real heart and decides to teach little kids how2pokemon once he steps down from Champion. Everyone else is a self important dick after or before they are champion. He's the cool grandpa/uncle Champion.
>CynthiaWhile she is cool and useful and easily the hardest Champion to fight, she has her down sides. She is constantly pushed on the player to seem like this chill, cool, power chick that is aloof and only is champion because she just happens to be the strongest. That being said, she makes neat cameos in the other games.
>LanceMotherfucker is cool as hell, trains dragons, and spends his time meditating in the clouds with ancient dragons. Problem is he doesn't have much character aside from edgycool and he's really fucking easy to beat. Plus, once you beat him he doesn't do much else.
>StevenAlmost exactly like Lance, but harder to beat. Not much character aside from cool rich archeologist. Plus he gets replaced by Wallace, which knocks him down a bit.
>IrisGood gym leader, not a good Champion. Wanna argue with me? Try to imagine Brock or Lt. Surge as champions. Sometimes gym leader personalities are just better fit for that and not Champions.
