I'm not saying Japan shouldn't have exclusive events or anything, I'm just saying from a business standpoint, it just eludes me why they wouldn't want to release those event pkmn everywhere.

They bought out a hour long infomercial block for Sunday morning (Japanese equivalent of Saturday morning cartoon time) on TVTokyo. It's much more popular there, so they accommodate those fans.
