They're going to have to start X and Y soon so I'd hope they're already exploring plot points of b2 & w2.

There is no Dekolora Islands in the game, it's an arc meant to burn time until XY, like the Orange Islands except Da! is complete filler and in no way interesting.

Well he'll be having flashbacks about his Butterfree (doesn't look like he'll actually be meeting it from recent information), but that appears to be it concerning his past Pokemon. If you've been watching since Kanto like I have, it might have some sentimental value to you, but rest of the episodes look to be pretty middling.

I'd just wait until they get to Kanto, it appears that they might be spending a few episodes there, and hopefully we'll see Misty and Brock or something.

To say the anime followed BW alone is superficial at best. It had the gyms, yes, but everything about TP was edited out. Or at least it was by the time the earthquake forever deleted the TR vs TP thing. I am not familiar with BW2, so I don't know if that followed the TP in that game, but TP in that saga appeared as they were in B/W2. As far as I know, there was nothing about a beam that turns pokemon evil in that game.

I don't get what the Pokemon anime is trying to accomplish. The olds would love seeing a beautiful conclusion to Ash's adventures. The youngs would not mind. What the fuck.

I don't think even the writers know what they're doing now, because no matter how you look at it, BW is a gigantic failure at what it does except as being entertainment for people that don't know what quality is. It is for this reason that I think this anime as a whole has reached a point of no return. You can't fix it, for they have already lost their soul.

The thought of actual having an ending that'd befit the original series is the only thing that keeps me somewhat following the show. And that's not even to say that AG and DP were bad, but they absolutely should have been their own thing instead of dragging Ash through them.

I really hope all of this Kanto pandering leads to something substantial, like the original trio joining up again (or at least Misty).

I dont understand how this is a fucking problem. There is no over-arching story. It's like detective conan. The kid would already be back to his original age by now, but he isnt. There is no need to age him since the show is just the same thing over and over again and kids love it.

It just bothers me, having the series go on for so long and he hasn't aged one bit.

I also would have been ok if they got rid of Brock instead of Misty.

Idk ,I guess I just want more of a developed series that just wouldn't work for a child's show. That's why I don't like to watch it anymore.
