Not him.
>>12610756>Why do you think so many people left during Johto? Why do you think she had to leave? The Johto hemorrhaging stopped itself towards the end, somebody else already posted a ratings charts that clearly shows this. Dropping Misty was a gambit by the writers to inject something new into the show, Brock and Team Rocket were also on the chopping block for a while.
And thirty something episodes after she left, when the new feeling of AG wore off, ratings drop far below what they were in Johto. Her leaving did nothing but have people lose more interest in the series.
>Everyone knows that becoming a Pokemon master=beating the Pokemon league/champion. Stop trying to nitpick. And "water Pokemon master" was just Misty wanting to do the same with a water-based team. We already saw Macy try to do it with a fire-based team as well, I have no idea how so many people can be confused with Misty's goals and not with Ash's, especially since she also wanted to improve herself to one-up her sisters.
>True, but at least Tracey gave us a break from him.Tracey wasn't a beacon of plot himself. The Orange Islands were more about Ash's individual goals and Misty interactions with Ash. They could afford to do this because the arc itself was only like thirty episodes.
>In short, good for nothing but acting as the tsukkomi of the group.Brock was the arbitrator between the two, May and Dawn were the beginners who Ash mentored. I could simplify everybody in such a ridiculous manner.
>but she was dragged down by the most hated character to ever appear in the series, Max.Piplup.
>By the way, did you realize that a lot of Max's traits come straight from Misty?Every lead heroine shares a metric ton of traits with Misty.
>And if you actually bothered to watch anything after Kanto, you would have noticed that May and Dawn are pretty different.Oh my. So Max and Misty are fair to compare, but not the two girls that served the absolutely same function on the show?
