What is your reaction to those who say "I stopped playing Pokemon at gen 2" or similar and parade around like they're the ideal Pokémon fan or some shit?
Legitimate discussion, not just bashing genwunners. What kind of logic would you apply to counter theirs? What would you say to them if they claimed to be true fans for ditching the series?

My response is basically; they can't be very good fans. They've abandoned and betreyed Pokémon, and they certainly cant be better fans than those who continue to support the franchise.
