Do you have a set team? All that jazz?

I always go with a team of 5 in any run and usually have 2-3 pokemon in mind that I want to have in my team and the rest are spurr of the moment.

The only plan is try not to use pokemon I've used before, where possible, to make the game feel different. I don't have any actual plan for my team, just don't use anything I've overused before.

Also I don't use overpowered pokemon in any run of the main game, it ruins the fun.

I usually don't plan my teams out. Normal formula is 6 guys that are as varied in type as possible, spare of the moment, I see it, I catch it kinda deal. I always try to use pokemon I've never used before so my starter gets dropped straight away

Just get these same types every time:
Water
Electric
Fighting
Flying
Random
Empty/Slave

I normally replace Random with the generic normal starting pokemon like Bidoof/Zigzagoon. Though, sometimes I just go for the game's pseudo-legend/mascot.
