This stuff is already done in abortion. The infant murder after birth is far more controversial though.
>>12608181It largely depends on the disability. Is something still big but not as bad as having a bad foot, or even something as serious as being unable to walk and having to be in a wheelchair forever? I'd think most would not want to kill the baby, since his/her life may be very rough but he/she still has a chance at happiness. Hell, I'd even say down syndrome babies ought to live if they weren't aborted.
Still, this is all just a gut feeling. I honestly don't know the main difference between being in the womb vs. being outside, since no one can go inside the mind of a baby and see what it's thinking in and out of the womb.
Something incredibly horrible, like feeling pain 24/7 and also having mental retardation, is likely to have many agreeing that the baby should die. I think 99% would want to kill the baby if it was born with anencephaly, since it will die in around 2 years anyways and 2 years is just too long (plus you might bond with the baby just to have it die).
