Y'know, just a tanked up as fuck version of Eevee? It might be disappointing but hey it wouldn't be the worst thing to ever happen. Gamefreak's done some stupid shit with Pokemon in the past.

Eventually there will be an eevelution for each type, so I can't see why people thinks that a Normal eevelution is stupid.
It's just a matter of time. Maybe in gen VII we get poison-type eevelution, in gen VIII steel, I don't know. But someday, we'll have all the types.
So I'm pretty ok with a normal eevelution.

I never said that I think Sylveon is normal-type.
