My favorite episode is the third, because I love Caterpie and seeing that little fucker being the hero and defeating Team Rocket was awesome (It even evolved in the end). Also Pidgeotto was caught on that episode, and I love Ash's Pidgeotto.

I remember how some other 2 friends and I argued with each other about who was the bird Pokemon Ash sees at the end of the first episode. Of course we had no idea of Ho-Oh. I used to say it was Moltres, even though I know it does not look anything like Moltres.
