I really like the look of that feature.

The other half looks like the dream eater system from Tony Hawk's Narcolepsy Simulator. Which looks pretty cool, seeing as that whole mechanic was basically pokemon anyway.

I would guess if your pokemon hates you it won't listen to you and you can't tell what moves to use, it will act by it's own will. Then if you can rise it high it may actually be stronger. So you have to bond with a pokemon before you can use out it's full potential.

GF would've had to make custom animations for each and every one, which is something I'm seriously doubting. I'm guessing it's only going to be available for Kalos Pokemon and a select few from previous generations.

Pokemon Amie isn't even close to that. You might want to look towards Musicals for Dress-up. And the Fairy Type is also there to balance out Dragon Types, Who are way too overpowered.
