I don't think so,it doesn't have enough bulk or speed to survive OU.

Besides there will most likely be other fairy types to choose from that outclass it with either pure power or superior bulk. UU at best,but definitely not OU.

Naaah, don't think so. They probably made Gardevoir Psychic/Fairy so you have a choice between two secondary types for Kirlia's evolution instead of dual tape and monotype. I would even say it would be the only evolution of its family who is capable of learning dem fairy moves.

The meta is probably going to start with EVERY fairy-mon being OU for a while based purely on usage, eventually the cream of the crop will come out on top. We don't know who else is turning into Fairy and what moves Fairies will have, for all we know Gardevoir will be completely outclassed.
I also think people are acting like this is going to effect the meta much more than it is. The only difference is that most Dragon's won't be able to win button so easily, they're still a fantastic type. People fail to realize Fairy, if going by the rumored Immune to Dragon Weak to Steel etc rumor, is simply going to help balance Dragon.
I really highly Poison types will be used more, or Poison type attacks - If Steel is indeed SE against Fairy, they'll be even more prominent in higher tiers (Scizor will be EVEN MORE wide-spread, Metagross won't be edging toward UU), making Poison still useless offensively.
Then again we don't know what else they're adding to the game yet, and how it'll affect the meta.

We don't know that Fairy is immune to Dragon yet, that's just an assumption based on Pokébeach leaks.

Also, I think only Azumarill (maybe Gardevoir) even have a chance of going to OU from what we already know.
The rest are either already too weak/slow to have an impact, and we still don't know what other pokemon will actually get Fairy type.

Going under the assumption that Fairy is immune to Dragon, yes he'll be able to switch in Outrage, but simply being able to soak up OP moves is not enough. You need to have more uses other than switching in on an occasional threat. Golurk is the best Terrakion counter in the game, but he's not OU because he doesn't have much going for him.

Adding on to this, Dragonite and Salamence are the most used dragons, Hydreigon is close behind and Haxorus a distant 4th.

Nite and Mence already have a worse counter than Fairy in Ice, yet we don't see Ice pushing them down into UU.

If there aren't any fast, strong Fairies, then it's doubtful they'll be moving much at all.
The video did show Sylveon outspeeding Mence though, so there may be hope there if it gets the same speed as Jolteon and a good attacking stat too.

There was little choices against dragons. You could either use another dragon which can be risky or use ice. There is now one more option against dragons, seriously I doubt any resistance against dragons for them. It is just not needed.
I am sure this new type mostly only happens for balancing.

Nope, that's not how new generations work. Ibviously, people start out testing the new mons/features/etc but they still need to build teams to be successful. Expect to see Drizzletoad again.
Also, type balance is a strnge thing and it's not nearly as biased as people seem to think it is. Adding a new type can easily change everything about the meta. It depends on how the type works, though.

On a side note, I think we're going to get a Dragon Eevee. It's the only type that was special before the physical/special split without an Eeveeloution, and Eevee's have been released in pairs since the first three.

Rayquaza has 150 mixed offenses. As if that wasn't enough, unlike Kyurem-B and his highly-restrictiive, moveset, Rayquaza has a lot under his belt.

Unlike Kyurem-B, Rayquaza also has decents way to boost himself.

He can go for SD set (since he has decent bulk) and slap your shit (with Extremespeed bypassing his poor speed), or he can DD and slap your shit 6 ways from Sunday.

Not to mention Air Lock and the ability to single-handely stopping weather teams cold.

You are a complete idiot if you think Rayquaza will drop just because of one added weakness

Spoilers: Dragons have always had to find a way around Steels. They can do the same for Fairy too.. easily.

Also, there are plenty of pokemon with shitty type coverage that are in OU. Look at almost any Psychic type ever.
All this means is the game is more BALANCED.. not that Dragons are all going to die off.

The current metagame speed rests at around 108.
An advance on that to 115+ would put Rayquaza in the position of being pretty damn slow. This is factoring in a power creep like BWs of course, else it would remain way overpowered.
It would depend upon the new toys we got given of course, but it wouldn't be impossible to see it fall to OU.

It isn't an instant win (or anything near that) now. You don't play the metagame enough, you don't understand how it works, and as a result you get your ass handed to you by threats which people who are competent don't. Dragon is a great type, but it's by no means what runs the metagame at the moment. Look at the usage stats, then go play some decent-level OU and you'll realise that shit like the Ttar/Keldeo/Lando core etc. is what actually runs the show.

Did you know than most Ubers range from 90 to 100 speed.

This is pretty slow by OU standards, but they don't stop being Uber, because what they lack in speed, they have in bloated offensive/defensive stats and almost Mew-tier movesets

I said it before and I'll say it again: You're a moron. One added weakness is not going to suddenly make Rayquaza be weak enough to be on OU and not being able to pick teams aparts with his inpredictability, diverse moveset and horrifying offenses
