ITT: small questions that don't need their own thread
I've been playing a nuzlocke, and I'm not sure whether or not explosion/self destruct is allowed, would it count as a death for my pokemon?

it's not like nuzlocke has any sort of rule enforcement. most people i've seen treat selfdestruct as a death though, myself included. the one exception I make is that I sometimes allow revive items but only when used before the trainer that killed the pokemon is defeated, and i only really do that when I'm using other weird rules that complicate things further.
