>>12635999What is so hard about making a Pokemon evolve in the middle of a battle? It would be a great way to cash in on the 3D models. The beat a trainers Pokemon, levels up, shows the glorious 3D evolution, and then asks whether you'd like to switch to another Pokemon. It would make battle more interesting.
Say there's a fairy type fighting against a hoard of poison types. For whatever reason, all of your other Pokemon are KO'ed. Your fairy manages to knock one of them out, and levels up. DINGDINGDING. It evolved into fairy/steel, and lost it's poison weakness, and then proceeds to wipe them out one by one. Please explain how it would be a bad thing.
