Dragonite- Dragon Flying
Flygon- Dragon Ground
Garchomp- Dragon Ground
Altaria- Dragon Flying

4/6 of the big dragons and they are 4x weak to ice

fairy is not going to affect anything that much

Jolteon is still the best evolution without question, perhaps the best Pokemon ever

They miht not be used much at the beginning because everyone will jump at the new-type train, but once the storm cools down Dragon-type will still stick around.

Expect double the usage of Scizor, tho

Fairy isn't supposed to make dragons useless, that's not how balance works. It's just supposed to make them less of a threat. They'll still be great I'm sure.

Fairy is IMMUNE to Dragon. that means if you someone switches a Fairy in the middle of your Outrage you are fucked.

Dont get me wrong though. The pseudo dragons will still be OU but just less of it will revolve around them

too bad a lot of dragons have more than just dragon STAB and a bunch of coverage moves. Hell I could see Flygon going up in usage if the bug > fairy rumours are true, b8 a fairy with an outrage and u-turn out of it. Kingdra won't be going down any time soon because its a beast in rain and gen 6 OU will still be weather based and people will still run it to counter rain. Garchomp/Salamence/Dragonite got even better this gen with DW abilities and are fast as fuck and will bruise everything.

Jolteon is very good, but it's not really powerful enough to do as much damage as certain dragon-types. Especially considering power creep and the fact that the movepool you mention is mostly weak moves whereas Dragon-types can rely on Outrage, a 120 base power move that gets STAB and is resisted by only one type.

Take Salamence.
>send out against something that can't hurt it

>OHKO
>Moxie activates
>rape train has no brakes, even a lot of steel types take a lot of damage from +2 MoxieMence

Take Dragonite. Jolteon can't hurt it much if it's still got Multiscale up, but Dragonite can smash through its flimsy defenses fairly easily.

I don't think there's anything in the OU tier that's within that ten percent margin of speed timid grants jolty, scarfers will outspeed it modest or timid, so I go modest as its sp at, 110, is not that impressive unboosted

huh actually did some calculations and jolly/timid Dugtrio/Alakazam with max speed EVs can outspeed a modest Jolteon with max speed EVs. I guess if you want to outspeed these two mons you can go timid but they're all you have to worry about from the OU tier with modest jolty
