Let's discuss what kind of gimmick this new shit will bring.

- Picking flowers in X/Y will allow you to get new boosts from said flowers.

- Use flowers like berries.

- Flowers power up fairy types.

- Give flower to Eevee to get Sylveon

We DID see Sylveon in a bed of flowers in the preview for the short.

It's gonna be just like Farfetch'd and Marowak. The flower will be a Hold Item that just boosts that Pokémon's stats.

Gen VI is bringing back the ability to grow berries, but it is now extended to flowers as well.

Flowers are more limited, but are only usable by set pokemon or types.

10cm isn't that hard to believe. Most fairies are depicted as being a few inches in height nowadays, so it really isn't that surprising.
