The Strengths and Weaknesses that were leaked Months ago are

Also this leak continues to look more viable as it also said the First Gym WOULD be Bug Type.

I'm pretty sure he meant the only Pokemon we can ride in the city is a Gogoat, and that it's not our Gogoat. Not that Gogoat is the only Pokemon able to be mounted in the entire game, no pun intended.

It's not the type itself that matters, it's the Pokemon that receive the type.
If Blissey/Chansey ended up being Fairy or Normal/Fairy, you can bet your ass they'd drop in usage.

The Fairy Typing actually HURTS Azumaril in it's fights with Scizor, because no longer resists Steel.

Instead of always being able to tank Scizor, they're basically stuck not being able to switch in on each other either way because whoever comes in will lose

NO type has more than one Immunity besides Ghost typing.

Excuse me everyone, but isn't this still just inferior to Mach Punch on pretty much anything that doesn't get the STAB. There is no way that a type with 1 immunity and no resistances is going to become more prevalent in the metagame than steel aready is especially when steel is the go to type to slay them.

It's not worth shit offensively and defensively gets wrecked by some extremely common offensive types.

If fire types are given more means to succeed then steel will gain weaknesses and advantages in the metagame at the same time.

and ALSO being weak to EARFQUAKE

Fire is a lost cause, and it seams like if the Fairy Type IS super effective against Fighting, Fighting's taken a hit too.

Thus, we must place our trust in Ground Types and Earthquake to combat to Titanium menace

Heck, introduce several.

And those are just a couple ideas. Without fugitive flint in play you could do a lot to make fire much more viable even with earthquake.
