Personally, i think both look ridiculous. The Cat is a stuffed animal, and the...other thing, is dominated by a flower that isn't even a part of the pokemon. Excuse you GF

Really hyped about the lion one because the tail and the fact that it's Fire type immediately made ma think of a manticore.

I like every Pokémon revealed so far.
The lion cub is adorable and I bet it's evolutions will receive the Shinx treatment in terms of badassery - cant wait to give it a try.
The flower fairy is a really interesting concept, and I really hope it gets an interesting evolution based on the flower gimmick - perhaps the flower becomes a part of it making it the first Grass/Fairy. Needing the flower for evolutionary purposes would explain why it hangs onto the same one its whole life

Is the flower sprite really only Fairy type? It should be Fairy/Grass if the flower is always with it like that.

Flor now, it just keeps the flower around while the pokemon is a fairy on top. As it evolves, it'll probably get the grass typing.

I think the issue is that its less of a tool, and more of a set piece. Bigger than the pokemon itself, its just a fucking flower that takes over the model

Believe it or not, when at least 2 people have to same opinion, it can be shortened as a "we" when one of those people voice out this opinion. Since OP and I both think that the cub look like a stuffed thing, I don't see the problem by saying that "we" think it look like a stuffed plushie.

I love almost every gen VI poke shown as of yet, but the Lion doesn't look as cute as everyone else is saying. I think it's the googly eyes.

The fairy would be god-tier if it weren't for the flower. I know they've done it dozens of times, but I don't like stuff like that--some, like Farfetch'd's leek, are more forgivable than others, like Conkeldurr's cement blocks. But never has something dominated the design so much. The flower completely dwarfs the pokemon, and I think others would agree if they retired their hype goggles

I personally don't see what's wrong with the flower. You can still see the Pokemon just fine, and it's not like the flower is moving all about and distracting the viewer. Plus, I'm sure if it evolves, the flower will come into play in the evolution's body.
