I had a gay Tediursa once.

Met it in the factory, kept trying to use Attract on one of my rentals even though it never worked.

I felt bad for it's unrequited romance on it's coworker so I rented it out.

That was something I always thought about... A random "sexuality" hidden trait that makes the pokemon immune to the opposite sex's "Attract" but makes it vulnerable to a same sex one. This could also have an effect on abilities like Rivalry...

I've heard it used here in America, but very rarely. If you are in the position to insult a homosexual you tend to use the more hurtful slang like faggot. Calling someone a fairy would usually have the reverse effect, making the bigot appear playful without the intent to cause harm.
