Steel isn't even an element. It's an alloy.

There are lots of Grass-types that aren't plants.

Thus, Grass is a better name than Plant, though Nature would probably be the best name for it.

yeah, the correct name should be metal. Just like grass type should be Plant type (and not even that, since tehre are fungus there too and fungus aren't plants)

Some other localizations get it better, in Spanish it is Tipo Planta, for example.
