I bought White 2 when it first came out, played it for 16 mins, got bored, put it away.
Yesterday I was getting all hyped about the new gen, decided to break it out and play a little.
Within 5 mins, caught a shiny Mareep.
First shiny I've ever seen

My first ever shiny was a sandshrew in sapphire. Because I was a retarded 10 year old, I never knew what a shiny or EV training was. Only recently did i find out that it has really good IV's and could have made a great competitive pokemon.
