I get that you make a connection because it's bat-like and shares a handful of colors with Swoobat, but it's just too dramatic a change.

yeah when looking at them right next to eachother, i can see how they have quite a bit of differences. I guess its something about the ears, or whatever they are. and the cloudy bushy scarf. When i first saw it, i was almost sure it would be a swoobat evo.

If anything the difference between Saws and Stantler is far smaller than that of Novi and Swoo, the vast majority of bats have that really fuzzy body that is super fuzzy around the neck. They are just SO different how anyone could believe they're evos is ridiculous

Think about it. With the addition of the Fairy type, Dragons aren't totally and utterly overpowered anymore; they're now just a regular type. The first two evolutions could be Normal/Flying, and Noivern can be the third stage.

It won't be this gen. They've been hinting at Fairy for months, and they're not just going to be all "oh, btw, we're adding another type too". Maybe next generation, but it really depends on how well Fairy balances out the type chart, since that seems to be the primary reason for the introduction of Fairy in the first place.

Fire type can learn SolarBeam or Energy ball to counter water type,Emboar can even learn Scald to counter ground type
Water type can learn Ice move to counter grass type.
There is a lot of pokemon who can learn move super effective against their weakness
Why a dragon based on a wyvern, who are often represented with a poisonous tail couldn't learn a poison move?
