if you put an infected pokemon in the box it will keep it until you take it out...out of the box it lasts a few days i think?

Give it to a pokemon you don't care about and then immediately store that one int he PC
The PC pauses the 48 hour counting. So you can pull it out and give it to an other, then place it right back int he PC and only a few minutes will have gone off the radar, instead of the whole actual time it was int he computer.
