>Why?The first thing any idiot will do when his noober Dragon-types don't work anymore is back his favorite noober Dragon-type up with one of it's weaknesses weaknesses. Steel type attacks are redundant and retarded - why beat Rock with Steel when you can use a Fighting type move that's SE against other things? - and plenty of Poison type moves have a chance of poisoning the things they attack. The only thing Poison can't hit (or poison) is Steel, and pretty much every Dragon in existence can learn Flamethrower or a Flamethrower alternative.
Whether or not Poison types will actually be usable on the other hand is a difficult question. Everything can still learn Earthquake and Poison types don't exactly have massive special defenses to handle Psychics well. If we got something incredibly bulky with Levitate and/or a diverse movepool, Poison would be good, but the problem is Poison always ends up being the fodder Rocket Pokemon.
