So with all that promotion of Sylveon downing Hydreigon, surely Game Freak would be savvy enough to give it stats worthy of at least being a good Pokemon right?

If so, what would be its stats distribution?

I assume HP is going to be its highest like the other cutesy pink Pokemon. Also sort of looks like a support Pokemon based on the anime trailer

Yes
All Eeveelutions use the same stats, and just place them in different places (i.e. Jolteon and Espeon has the same stat spread, except their Special Attack and Speed are swapped)

If fairy is super effective on dragon and dark types then Sylveon wouldn't need to have good stat placement to win.

High speed with a base 80 fairy attack or a priority base 60 fairy attack with a item that increases the effectivness of fairy moves would do the trick.

Its not like Hydreigon has amazing hp or defenses. All sylveon has to have is decent attack with good speed or vice versa.

Probably has poor hp too.
