Wait, this things name is "Flabébé"? Am I missing something? How do you feel about there being accents in the names? All of the designs I'm fine with but it feels a little much for me.

It's awkward to pronounce. It's three syllables and it sounds like I'm saying to separate words when I pronounce it. At least Muk and Seel are straightforward and easy to say. They also don't try hard at trying to combine two things resulting in a stupid name. I'll take stupidly simple over stupidly long.

Sounds fair. Personally I find Talonflame pretty easy to say. I mean, it's just two words put together. It is pretty long but I don't really see how it's a problem. Also, the name is apparently a mixture of talon and inflame, which makes sense to me.

While I personally don't think anything is wrong with "seel" It literally is just a simple letter change from the word "seal" with nothing else to make it stand out. No pun or descriptor, It's just really boring and plain.

Also symbols like that are nothing new, look at Farfetch'd for example. Not an accent but pretty strange to have in a pokemon name

Being a lazy programmer myself, I think they have implemented just the grammatic distinctions they need for Japanese, which is probably much less than they need for English. Also, they just do string magic beyond some point...
So yeah, they probably have to change their entire language pack interface to do so.
